The Verve fue una banda británica de rock

alternativo formada en Wigan, Inglaterra, en 1989.

Estuvo compuesta originalmente por el vocalista

Richard Ashcroft, el guitarrista Nick McCabe,

el bajista Simon Jones y el bateria Peter

Salisbury.

Simon Tong se incorporó posteriormente como

guitarrista.

Fue uno de los grupos británicos más importantes de los años 1990.

Para mi el mensaje de la canción nos quiere decir que no seamos "moldes" adaptados por la sociedad y el

consumismo, su mente se encuentra cerrada en un cuerpo que se identifica como "el molde" que es el

cuerpo que quiere ser como el resto de las personas pero su mente y sus ideas son diferentes a los demás

ya que el avanza en dirección contracorriente a los demás.
